The Ambassador of India for Hungary and Bosnia and Herzegovina, his Excellency Mr. Rahul Chhabra visited GIKIL.

Expressing his impression about his stay in our company, the Ambassador Chhabra said that he was positively surprised by his visit to our economy giant and one of the biggest exporters in B&H.

-I have been planning to visit GIKIL for a long time and I am very happy to be here with you on this occasion. I believe that our visit is just the beginning of a good cooperation which we need to continue, especially by organizing social events for your company's employees which will certainly be worth the attention - the Ambassador said.

Upon receipt by the Board Members of our company, the Ambassador Chhabra visited the largest GIKIL's plant, Coke plant as well as other facilities.

On this occasion, a closer cooperation with the Office of the Embassy in Budapest is announced as well as the organization of cultural events in cooperation with the Amrita Sher-Gill Centre during the summer months in GIKIL, such as free yoga classes and other interesting events for our employees.

The importance of the cooperation between two countries

The Ambassador of the Republic of India for B&H, headquartered in Budapest, H.E. Mr. Rahul Chhabra was in an official visit to Sarajevo few days earlier. On this occasion the importance of economic and trade cooperation between B&H and India was emphasized, as well as the fact that enabling online visas has greatly increased the number of tourist visits of BH citizens to this exotic country.

He also recalled that the International Day of Yoga (June 21st), defined by the UN resolution, will be marked this year in several BH cities by performing traditional Indian dance and music on the proposal of the Indian Prime Minister.
