53 years old Husejin Imamović from Devetak, chemical technician by profession, has been working in Fertilizer Plant since 1986. Recalling the valuable years of his work, on the occasion of 55th anniversary, which the plant is celebrating these days, he shared with us that from the pre-war period until today many things have changed but also some things remained exactly the same.

-There has always been a lot of work here. Production in this plant does not stop for 24 hours, so people on their shoulders, as we say, carry a huge amount of work and responsibility. In that past time, I would say, it was much easier to bear all of that. There was more fun and joy, while today people are generally distanced themselves from each other. The plant has been changing as well as production and management, but some things have remained exactly the same. The work and the efforts are still very valuable here, in our plant and now in GIKIL as a company. Relations among the workers are very good and collegial, because they really do not need much to be happy and satisfied and to do the required job with quality. Similar relationships are with management. There are small disagreements sometimes, but they are quickly resolved - said Husejin, shift foreman at the plant, adding that over the years a man emotionally ties himself to his company, workplace, colleagues, and that each worker when they retire leaves behind themselves the same:  what they were like as a worker and what they were like as a human being.

With Quality to European markets
