GIKIL, ever since its formation in 2003, has adopted TPM as a way of working. We have already had the honour of being the first company in B&H and the first Coke Plant outside Japan to receive prestigious TPM Excellence Award in March, 2009 in Kyoto, Japan. That was the first step towards our goal of becoming a world class company preferred by world class customers in the field of Coke , AMK and Fertilizer businesses. Further GIKIL is continuously striving to improve the business performance along all parameters using JIPM based TPM philosophy.
In order to bring consistency in the quality and delivery of our products along all parameters and further to gain customer delight, GIKIL had launched Six Sigma as additional initiative. Through this initiative organization has witnessed a paradigm shift from traditional way of experience based working to data based working and decision making. Management members at all levels are trained in Six Sigma and associated Statistical tools and are actively engaged in Six Sigma projects around key business CTQs. (Critical To Quality parameters).
The Company is certified for ISO 9001:2008, and additionally got its Energy Plant certified for ISO 14001:2004 in 2015. In 2015, Business Excellence initiative was launched in GIKIL as a part of group wide initiative based on Baldridge Excellence Framework integrating various best in class initiative.
Through these management initiatives GIKIL is fast heading towards a world class organization with performance comparable with global standards in terms of parameters like Productivity, Quality, Cost, Delivery, safety & employee Morale.
