GIKIL produces around 6.000 tons of ammonium sulphate annually.

This product is used as an intermediate to precipitate and fractionate proteins. Ammonium Sulphate assists in the purification of biochemical products. It is also used as a flame retardant.

The main reason of producing ammonium sulphate is GIKIL’s care for environment. Whereas ammonia water that occurs in the process of coke production has a negative environmental impact, GIKIL buy sulphuric acid and in the production process as a product obtained by ammonium sulphate which is environmentally friendly.

Ammonium Sulphate can be transported in covered road transport means.
