Guntupalli Jagannadham
Managing Director

Graduated in Engineering and as well as in Management field having about 34 years of experience in Coke, Iron and Steel Industries.

He was on Board of studies for reputed Universities in India as well as an Honorary faculty member for about 5 years. He worked in three major steel industries in India having Coke Oven Batteries, and Byproducts Plants. During his tenure in India 's Public Sector Steel Plants, he won the country's prestigious Nehru Award for his meritorious performance immediately after his graduation.

Globally traveled and enriched himself with knowledge and expertise in technologies of coke, iron and steel making world. He could shift one of the largest old Blast Furnaces from Germany and put up the same in India after updating the technology to the state-of- the-art in the world and today the same is operating wonderfully.

He has wide experience in operating and managing the industries both in Government sector as well as the Corporate sector and he was adjudged as the best leader of men in his previous assignments and has the ability to lead any industry and to convert it into a viable and vibrant institution.

Leader of Management of company willing to set new trends every time breaking all barriers.

 

Faik Buševac
Deputy Managing Director

Mr. Buševac has attained degree of Bachelor of Mechanical engineering at the University of Sarajevo. He has 36 years experience in KHK Lukavac.

He held position of Director of Energy plant. After that he was performing duties of Deputy Managing Director of KHK for two years, then he was working as Executive director for operations in the duration of one year. He was also acting as Executive Director for investments and development.

Mr. Buševac was a member of different managing bodies: Council of black metallurgy of Yugoslavia for 6 years, Council of Chamber of Commerce Tuzla - for eight years, management member of KHI.

Besides his experience in KHK he also worked as a teacher in mechanical-technical school Lukavac and Mining-technical school in Tuzla.

Since November 2003 (from the period when a new Indian-Bosnian: Global Ispat Koksna Industrija d.o.o. Lukavac company was established) he has been performing duties of Deputy Managing Director with responsibilities to organize, manage working processes of business operations of the Company in accordance to the Law and other regulations, as well as the declared and undeclared policies of the Company, so that positive business results of the Company are provided.

 

Gurram Surya Kishore
Executive Director (Operations)

Gurram Surya Kishore is executive Director of GIKIL-s Operations, a post he has held since July 15, 2008.

Mr.Kishore was a ranker in his Master's degree as well as Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering. He was Master’s from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur in the year 1977 one of the premier Institutes in India for Chemical Engineering

Mr. Kishore has a rich and varied experience in all facets of Coke ovens (construction, commissioning and operation of the Batteries) due to his experience in the field of coke making for the last 33 years in different organisations in India and abroad. Notable achievements are successful commissioning of Batteries of Visakhapatnam Steel plant in the year 1989 to 1995 and Battery of GIKIL, Lukavac in 2004.

As executive Director of GIKIL-s Operations, he and his team are responsible for successful Management of business Operations of the total GIKIL complex including fertilizer plant, Maleic anhydride plant, Power plant along with Coke ovens.

Notable achievements at GIKIL are designing coal blends to produce the best coke sought by customers of GIKIL

Mr Kishore is one of the key GIKIL’s people who led company to achieve TPM excellence award from JIPM in 2008 .

 

Sulejman Pucić
Executive Director (Supply Chain Management)

Bachelor of electrical engineering, energy section, graduated in Sarajevo in 1973. He has been continuously employed in KHK, i.e. GIKIL-u since 1973. He has been holding the following positions up to now: Maintenance engineer, Director of energy department, Technical director and Director of Energy plant. Since 1997 he has been dealing with commercial affairs in KHK, and afterwards in the newly established company GIKIL.

In his position as Executive Director for commercial affairs and marketing in GIKIL he is responsible for: market research, negotiations and contract concluding with all business partners for purchase of coking coal and other raw-material and spares as well as for sales of chemical products in the local and international market.

Coke markets that GIKIL covers presently are: B&H, Serbia, Macedonia, Croatia, Bulgaria, Turkey, Italy and India, where we supply steel plants, sugar plants, foundries, producers of fero-alloys and other customers.

GIKIL exports its chemical products, especially anhydride maleic acid (AMK), crude tar and crude benzene to Serbia, Montenegro, Czech Republic, Turkey, Italy, Germany and India. Mr. Pucić is also responsible for KAN production. Since 2006 this product has been successfully sold in Serbia, Montenegro and Kosovo.

 

Ahmed Zonić
Executive Director for investment and development

Master of chemical engineering, from Tuzla University. Involved in investment activities and strategic planning of GIKIL development in area of coke, fertilizer, maleic anhydride and energy production, with emphasis on modernization, automation and optimization of production processes.

As Executive Director for investment and development, he is a part of Management team that back in 2004 has successfully commissioned whole production process in GIKIL.

Working in Company since 1969 performing following duties:

  • Manager of fertilizer production;
  • Coordinator for development of non-organic products;
  • Technical Director of IPUK Institute (Institute for processing coal and carbon chemistry);
  • Technical Director of KHK.

Leader of TPM pillar Focused improvement, through which 150 projects has been realized in order to improve production process. Thanks to successfully implemented procedures of TPM methodology, GIKIL has achieved a TPM Excellence Award in 2008, and ongoing activities related to next level TPM Consistency Award.

Leading a team, that designed a reconstruction, modernization and automation projects in GIKIL Plants: Maleic anhydride (AMK), Fertilizer Plant, Energy Plant and Coke Plant.

Engaged in scientific work and research, with emphasis on ecological achievements and application of those in GIKIL in order to meet requirements and ecology guidelines of European Union. He is a author and coauthor of many studies, projects and published professional works, and mentor for thirty graduate theses. Member of many associations in Tuzla Canton involved in technology, energetic and ecology.

 

Suad Dubravić
Executive Director (Finance)

Mr. Suad Dubravic holds a BSc in economics and has 24 years of working experience in finance and accountancy.

During his work with KHK he served as:

• Head of the Investment and Loan Department
• Head of Finance Service within the Economic and Financial Sector of KHK
• Director of the Economic and Financial Sector of KHK
• Member and Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board of KIL.

Currently he serves as :

  • Member of the Supervisory Board of KHK
  • Deputy President of the Supervisory Board of KHK
  • Executive Manager for Financial and Economic affairs.

He is a member of many commercial, financial and accountancy groups and is a chartered accountant. He was a member of many commissions and teams formed by the Government of Tuzla Canton which focused their work on the analysis of business operations and realization of economic and financial indicators of the economy of Tuzla Canton and different investment projects.

He was also a member of the Steering Board of the Secondary Business School in Lukavac.

 

Karahasanović Kadira
Executive Director of Human Resources

Miss. Karahasanović Kadira holds a BSc in economics and has 34 years of working experience in Company.

Finished faculty of Economics and graduated in in Sarajevo 1976. Since then, she is employee of KHK, after GIKIL.

She worked and was a member of many Managing Commissions, of which emphasizes the work in the Economic Commission of Fertiliser Manufacturers Association of Yugoslavia.

During working time, has successfully performed the following functions:

- Main economist for planning and analysis;

- Head of the economic - financial affairs;

- Head of the Department of Planning and Analysis;

- Head of Residential Service;

- Director of Human Resources.

Since 2007. successfully preforming on the position of Executive Director for Human Resources and is a member of the Management Board of Global Ispat Coke Industry.

With her work contributes to the development of Company's human resources following the initiatives and methodologies of modern business.
