"Global Ispat Koksna Industrija" d.o.o. Lukavac cherishes the values of sport and gives its contribution through sponsorship of the swimming club "Galeb GIKIL" from Lukavac.
This confirms GIKIL’s commitment in promoting of a healthy lifestyle and proper education of youth.

We are living in an era when sports associations have difficulties to find sources for their funding what led to the closure of many clubs. GIKIL has recognized this need and since its establishment (2004) has accepted the sponsorship of the swimming club "Galeb GIKIL". The club has been existing in Lukavac for 50 years.

Based on support of GIKIL, swimming club „Galeb GIKIL“ Lukavac  achieved outstanding results. In 2011 swimmers of this club achieved the best results since its establishment winning a total of 310 medals, of which 136 gold, 120 silver and 54 bronze.

Swimmers and coaches of swimming club „Galeb GIKIL“ Lukavac  received highest number of awards from all the clubs on the occasion of the event „Election of the Best Sportsman of  Lukavac in 2011“  which was organized by the Sports Association of  Lukavac Municipality on 14th  January 2012.
