As you know, GIKIL, ever since its formation in 2003, has adopted TPM as a way of working. We have already had the honour of being the first company in BiH and the first Coke Plant outside Japan to receive prestigous TPM Excellence Award in March,2009 in Kyoto ,Japan. That was the first step towards our goal of becoming a world class company preferred by world class customers in the field of Coke , AMK and Fertilizer businesses.

We are all gearing up for the second step of our mission that is the TPM Consistency Award. GIKIL is all set to apply for this important award in early 2011 and our TPM consultant from JIPM, Japan has already expressed his satisfaction at the progress we have made, during his visit to GIKIL on 27th and 28th of Aug,2010. 2011 is going to be a very important and challenging year for all of us during which the team of auditors from Japan would visit us for a pre audit followed by the final audit after which the results would be announced by the end of 2011. The award ceremony would take place in Kyoto, Japan in the month of March,2012.

We must get our act together and be ready for the challenge in 2011 as TPM is the only way to stay competitive in business in the world of uncertainties and globalization. There is competition from China and we have no option but to match the cost of production with that of our competitors to stay in business. GIKIL is determined to continue to strive for the Customer satisfaction, Employee satisfaction, Social satisfaction and Global satisfaction. Our dedicated employees have been putting in their best and through TPM, we are continuously looking ahead to further improve our Efficiency, Productivity, Quality, Costs, On time delivery, Safety and Morale of our company. The key to achieving all these results is waste reduction through team work, innovation, continuous training for skill and knowledge upgradation of all our employees. TPM has all this and we are confident of achieving yet another milestone on the path of being a world class company.
